Our Instructor

Head Instructor, Elizabeth Bierman, is a graduate of Delaware Valley College, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Equine Science.  A dedicated Three-Day Event rider, Elizabeth has competed through the Advanced level and brings a well-rounded, multidisciplinary approach to her training program.  She takes pride in riding and teaching across all disciplines, with dressage serving as the foundation of her philosophy.  Committed to continual growth, Elizabeth regularly participates in clinic and private lessons with leading industry professionals, including Sally Cousin, Silva Martin, and Debbie Adams, to ensure she remains at the top of her game for both her students and horses.

As the owner of Chesterfield Farm, Elizabeth is on-site daily and deeply invested in the success and development of every horse and rider.  She is passionate about helping each rider achieve their individual goals, whether building a strong foundation or refining performance at the competitive level.  Elizabeth oversees all boarding operations and is dedicated to providing exceptional care and attention to every horse on the farm.

Elizabeth currently has a string of three personal horses that she is advancing in dressage, eventing, and jumpers.  When she’s not teaching or competing, she enjoys spending time with her dog, Brody, and her two cats, Sandy and Sage.
